  5. I love the contrast between the sun and shadow in the first image!!! But the macro of the centre of the flower is wonderful, too!!!

    1. Thanks Judy :-)) I really liked the play of shadow and light on this flower. It's position makes me think it prefers not to be in constant direct sunlight.

  8. That's some perfect clematis you've got there. I wish there had been a bit of light on the center frilly part as well as the petals, as the eye is drawn to the lighter areas. But it's so beautifully sharp.

  14. Ahhhhhhhhh one flower I've not managed to grow in my garden, I've planted a couple but the frost always sems to get them before they are established. Lovely photo, beautiful colours, makes me remember why I wanted one so much.
